Suyematsu Farm Legacy Alliance was invited by the Bainbridge Island Senior Community Center to talk about our recent agreement with the City of Bainbridge Island to operate the Suyematsu Farm Historic Property during their weekly Zoom cast called “Something to Talk About”.
Center Director, Reed Price, interviewed SFLA Board Members Carol Reitz, Gina Corpuz, Brian Shibayama and Jon Garfunkel who spoke about the history of Suyematsu Farm, Akio Suyematsu, the origins of SFLA, SFLA’s agreement with COBI, and SFLA’s plans for completing a series of urgent repairs to the original Suyematsu farmhouse.
Thank you, Reed and BI Senior Center, for opportunity to share our story with the community!
